He’s only been a coach for a few days, but Stedman Bailey is already making an impact on the Rams’ rookie WRs.
Bailey — who suffered 2 gunshots to the head in a drive-by shooting back in Nov. — was waived by the team as a player earlier this month … but will stay in the organization to work with the coaching staff.
The good news … the players really like him.
We spoke with Rams’ wide receivers Nelson Spruce and Pharoh Cooper — who praised Bailey as a “student of the game” who’s really been helping them out on and off the field.
BTW, a bunch of Rams players — including rookie QB Jared Goff — were all at Woodworth Elementary Wednesday to help build a brand new playground, funded by the Rams.
The players weren’t just standing around — they were actually getting their hands dirty and doing real work.
