Style at the MTV Movie Awards has always been a bit all over the place. Actors have never been as skilled as musicians at getting crazy with clothes, and everyone’s definition of “edgy” is different. 2016 Jeff Kravitz
Jaden Smith was, unsurprisingly, one of the best-dressed guys there. This just goes to show that you don’t have to wear out-there clothes to reach for style-icon status.
Miles Teller proves here that the satin bomber jacket look doesn’t have to be such a loud statement. Just stick with neutral colors and the whole thing has less of a Miguel vibe.
Chris Pratt doesn’t look terrible but the fact that his jacket and jeans match in color so closely almost makes it look like he’s wearing a denim jumpsuit. Never ideal.
Zac Efron has always had sort of a Ken-doll look but there’s something about his Baywatch tan and his adorable denim bomber that’s too costume-y to be good.
Adam DeVine was one of several guys in serious suits. It feels wrong to come down on that, but let’s just say we’re still adjusting to the idea of glen check on an MTV red carpet.
