We’re still a few weeks away from the debut of Captain America: Civil War, but tonight brings screenings for fans in 25 major cities around the United States. That means you should probably start to get a little more leery about spoilers on social media, but the good news is that the early buzz has already indicated that the movie is pretty damn spectacular.

However, the cast of Captain America: Civil War is already starting their promotional tour, and they kicked things off with a takeover of Jimmy Kimmel Live this week. Team Captain America appeared on the show on Monday, the Doctor Strange trailer premiered there on Tuesday and last night Team Iron Man paid a visit to the show.

But before his team came out to speak with Jimmy Kimmel, it was just Robert Downey Jr. as the first guest, where he talked about his potential involvement in Spider-Man: Homecoming (which is the official title now) and the giant prop that he took from the set of The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Find out what he had to say about the possibility of Iron Man in Spider-Man Homecoming after the jump.

Here’s the interview segment with Robert Downey Jr. talking about the new Spider-Man on Jimmy Kimmel:

In addition to having some kind words to say about Tom Holland as the wall-crawler in Civil War, Downey addressed whether or not Iron Man would be involved in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The film was just given the official title at CinemaCon, and Kevin Feige recently said that some of the Avengers, like Iron Man and Captain America, could appear in the standalone movie. Kimmel didn’t hesitate to ask about the possibility of Downey appearing in the Spidey movie in the above clip, and here’s what the actor had to say:

Perhaps I will. We don’t have a contract yet.

It’s as simple as that. The good news is that Downey followed up this business detail by talking about his love for the webslinger since it’s the superhero that he loved the most as a kid. Since Downey didn’t flat-out deny the possibility of Iron Man joining Spider-Man for his first standalone movie in the Marvel cinematic universe, it sounds like that will probably happen.

Later in the show, Downey was joined by Team Iron Man, including Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany and Emily VanCamp (sadly, Chadwick Boseman was not in attendance) to talk about the movie. In their discussion, Jimmy Kimmel asked if any of them had taken a prop home from the set. Cheadle seems like he took something but didn’t want Marvel to know. Meanwhile, Downey has something a bit ostentatious from the set of The Avengers: Age of Ultron, but we wouldn’t expect anything less. Here’s the clip:

If the title didn’t give it away, Downey explains that he took the giant Avengers “A” logo from the new facility that we see at the end of The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Apparently it was just sitting around in London in storage, and Downey said he wanted it for his office back in Los Angeles. It must be nice to be Tony Stark.

Stay tuned for plenty more Marvel coverage as the debut of Captain America: Civil War on May 6 gets closer.
