Many successful shows are currently in the home stretch of closing out their seasons and almost all of the cast and crew have wrapped for the year. While this might sound for cause of sadness and mourning as our favorite shows go into summer hiatus, there is some casting news to keep the fan fire burning. Arrow is reportedly looking for Oliver’s new adversary. Legends of Tomorrow is adding some exciting heroes to season 2. Rick is going to get some help against Negan on The Walking Dead and a new face is showing up in Stars Hollow on the Gilmore Girls revival.
Gilmore Girls Adds Scandal Alum
It seems like every day the cast for the Gilmore Girls revival grows and expands. Usually though its returning cast members joining the reboot. This is not the case here. Dan Bucatinsky probably best known for playing James Novak on Scandal has joined the revival in a mystery role. The only thing that is known is his character will share the screen with Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore. Bucatinsky made the announcement on his Instagram, in a post which is embedded below.
Legends of Tomorrow Adds Two New Heroes
The much more interesting new character is the second one. Legends of Tomorrow has sent out a casting call for an African-American woman to play an elite solider from the 1940’s. The Walking Dead Adds Help in the Fight Against Negan
Ezekiel is one of the more flamboyant and weirder characters in The Walking Dead pantheon. Just to give you a hint of his strangeness, Ezekiel has a pet tiger in the comics who he has named Shiva. Ezekiel is the leader of a new group of survivors called The Kingdom and he describes himself as their king. Jesus will evidently introduce Ezekiel to Rick and together the two groups will try to take on the Saviors and Negan.
